KEEP IT REAL WITH YOUR HEALTH–HYPERTENSION
June 19, 2010High Blood Pressure:
Hypertension, a cardiovascular, is a world wide common problem occurring mostly in the middle age and also as a hereditary or genetic condition. Hypertension can cause fatal cardiac and renal problems. So, hypertension is the silent killer. The main cause of hypertension is the increased level of sodium in the blood which results in abnormal systolic and diastolic pressure.
Moringa is the well known tree which is used to treat more than 300 diseases and disorders of the body. Moringa is the richest source of potassium as it contains 15 times the potassium content compared to banana. When the level of potassium in the blood decreases, the absorption of sodium naturally increases leading to hypertension or High Blood Pressure. As Moringa contains sufficient potassium content it prevents the excess absorption of sodium thereby decreasing the blood pressure. Regular consumption of Moringa can increase the level of potassium and helps to reduce the pressure of the blood flowing to cells and tissues.
Moringa leaf powder is nutrient rich and high content of vitamins. Our School and college students, who awake in late nights, can drink a cup of 3 teaspoonsful per day in a glass of juice or in smoothies to relieve the stress and takes the place of coffee or caffeine with no adverse effect. It’s one of the most secret performance enhancing products taken by athletes today who ingest mega-doses that help them physically and mentally. It’s great for people of all ages, especially the precious golden agers who are losing their alertness. The most important thing about the nutrients is that they should be from a natural source. Then will our body absorb the nutrient. The vitamin and calcium supplements that we take are not fully absorbed by the body. This is mainly because human body can identify what comes in and goes out. In other words, the human body will reap the benefit only when the Vitamins, minerals, amino acids and the other nutrients are fed together with Moringa, the Miracle Tree of life as Leaf powder and is organic and absolutely safe. Imagine a tree that can feed the cattle and make them to produce milk in double the normal production.
Though all the parts are edible and have their individual properties, the leaves are more prominent with excessive properties for all identifiable conditions. There are no known side effects (only the root). Moringa Leaf powder provides the necessary vitamins and mineral supplements for the system. It contains almost all the necessary vitamins, abundant of amino acid, micro and macro minerals for the cell function.
Moringa contains calcium which is 17 times that of milk. Calcium is needed for blood coagulation. It was noted that increased calcium intake will decline the incidence of hypertension. Moringa contains both potassium and calcium in greater proportion makes the hypertensive patient to reduce their pressure.
Dietary treatment is one of the core programs in treating systemic conditions like Hypertension, Diabetes, Anemia, Kidney conditions, High Cholesterol, Cancer, Immune system diseases, HIV/AIDS, malnutrition –kwashiokor and marasmus. Prenatal and postnatal conditions. Some inflammatory conditions and fibromyalgia. Hepatic conditions etc.

MIRACULOUS MORINGA
March 10, 2010Do you believe in miracles?
Miracles need not always be supernatural. God has scattered His wonder works everywhere. If we’re just careful to look around, we’re bound to discover a lot of them. Like Moringa. Moringa is a real miracle. Since I was a kid and up to now, I’ve always loved Moringa leaves. In Manila we call them “Malunggay.” It’s a tropical green leafy vegetable, often seen as clustered tiny leaves attached through thin stems to soft and slender branches. Some people cook and eat even these branches. They’re cheap–selling at P5 per bundle. A bundle is enough to feed a family of 4.
Moringa is packed with micro nutrients. Just imagine: you get beta carotene, Vitamin C, protein, iron, and potassium from it. Philippine government experts claim that a meal of this veggie is equal to 4 glasses of milk in terms of calcium, 7 oranges in terms of Vitamin C, 3 bananas in terms of potassium, has iron 3 times that of spinach, Vitamin A 4 times that of carrots, and protein double of what milk offers. It’s a super veggie. And it’s easy to grow–just cut an adult branch from a tree, thrust it deep enough in the ground, water daily and, presto, it’ll sprout the precious leaves in no time. When it’s fully grown, the more you harvest, the more leaves it will grow. Fantastic! Miraculous!
Cooked Moringa
Moringa is often stewed with chicken or pork. Simply saute chopped garlic, onions, and ginger in a small amount of cooking oil, add chicken or pork pieces in this, saute some more, pour in enough water, and then the Moringa leaves (without the stems). When they’re cooked, Moringa leaves taste a lot better than spinach or bok choy.
Some people make soothing and refreshing tea drinks out of boiled Moringa. It’s a perfect drink if you have sore throat. Simply wash the leaves and stems, even the branches if you want a more nutritious tea, boil and pour in a cup. It tastes like sweet corn. Some folks I know add in some salt and powder pepper, and it turns into a super health soup perfect with rice or just a steaming stew during cold days.
Moringa leaves is perfect with stewed shellfish, fish, boiled green seeds, sardines, as an omelet, or just as a plain sauteed dish. Better yet, juice it with its stems and branches in a mechanized juicer. You may mix the thick, dark juice with some apple or carrot juice. Now, imagine what super nutrition you’d get from that!
The pant also produces an elongated green fruit with lots of seeds in it. When cooked, this fruit tastes very delicious. And unlike other seeds, this seed not only is safe for those with arthritis, it actually cures the ailment. A favorite way to cook the seeds is to mix them with other vegetables and boiled with some pork, ginger, and a small amount of “bagoong” or small fish preserved in salt.
Medicinal Value
Cooked with chicken soup, it’s a powerful concoction against colds, fever, and flu. Herbal experts say it heals a lot of ailments and helps powerfully in treatingdiabetes, cancer, and other diseases. Some use it to increase mother’s milk when breastfeeding babies. The leaves, seeds, and oil are used in some places as traditional herbal medicine. It is even used for sexual virility, like when you have erectile dysfunction. It is said to be a promising power food source to help obliterate malnutrition in poor countries.
As Delicacies
Some folks in Manila cook Moringa as cakes, candies, jams, or sweets like pulboron–a flavored and hardened milk powder and cooked flour. So, instead of flour, some use refined Moringa. I find them better tasting than regular pulboron. And because it has similar properties as flour some use it to make noodles and bread. Like a genuine supernatural miracle, Moringa has lots of possibilities. The seeds are even made into biofuel that is definitely environment-friendly.
My Health Booster
I’m always interested in natural health booster foods that are quite cheap and easily available. For instance, periodically I eat boil Saluyot and drink the brew as well. Saluyot is as cheap as Moringa. It’s a super Vitamin A source and has plenty of fiber and anti-cancer and anti-aging properties. At times I alternate this with boiled Moringa, especially when I feel the need for some extra energy boost.
Do miracles still happen? A lot. Especially with Moringa around and very affordable, there’s no limit to what health and healing miracles are possible.
IS MORINGA OLEIFERA GENETICALLY MODIFIED?
March 10, 2010A: No, Moringa is one of few beneficial plants NOT genetically modified (GM). Today, alarmingly there are thousands of GM plants. Recent news reports confirm research brought
to the media several years ago, that in animal studies a diet rich in GM corn fed to animals caused them to develop abnormalities to internal organs and changes to their blood. These studies raise fears that human health could be affected by eating GM food. In Dr. Monica
G. Marcu’s book, “Miracle Tree”, (published by KOShealthpub.com), she outlines the current health concerns of GM corn and soy as the modern day health hazard, especially among infants, and Moringa is a superior replacement, unblemished by GM as it delivers supreme nutrition to all ages.

Help for sudan with moringa
March 6, 2010Dear all
I came to know about Moringa Oleifera only three weeks ago, and I have been informed that Moringa trees have been used to combat malnutrition, especially among infants and nursing mothers. I looked in the internet and found a large number of reports on the nutritional qualities of Moringa which exist in both the scientific and the popular literature. I found that Moringa leaves contain more Vitamin A than carrots, more calcium than milk, more iron than spinach, more Vitamin C than oranges, and more potassium than bananas, and that the protein quality of Moringa leaves rivals that of milk and eggs, and here cam my interest in the tree.
I am a Sudanese from the region of Darfur, which marred with conflicts and war for the last six years, and where malnutrition among children has increased over the past year, despite massive humanitarian aid efforts. UN studies show that of the children affected by ongoing clashes, 16.1% suffer from acute malnutrition. Every year, $1 billion in aid is sent to Darfur, along with 13,000 aid workers from the United Nations and humanitarian agencies, providing food and medical help for some 2.5 million people driven from their homes.
The Moringa trees could save these children if a large plantation project was established and trees were distributed free to farmers and refugees to plant. If a good project was carried out this tree could eradicate hunger, malnutrition and poverty from Darfur.
I have about 30 hectares of land in Nyala the largest city in Darfur, I have four wells for water and diesel engine driven pumps. I used to plant vegetables and sell them to the local market, but since I came to know Moringa I decided to dedicate what is left of my life (52 years) to plant and distribute this tree to my people of Darfur. My plan is to plant seed trees and develop nurseries to distribute millions of trees free of charge.
When the people plant enough trees and come to know about their benefits, then health, nutritional, and financial reworded can be gained.
Please support me with any means possible to make this project a reality; with your know how, books, recent papers, companies and organizations who can support physically and financially, NGO,s who would support with establishment of the plantation and providing seeds, or any helpful information.
With my best regards
Dr. Mohamed Suliman Adam
